Thursday, I went to Danny’s wake. Friday, I went to his funeral. I hugged his brothers, his mother, and his father. That was probably the most devastating thing that I’ve ever witnessed in my life. To watch his father stand up and speak about his dead son, tears in his eyes. It’s hard.
